Sai Sha Road
Sai Sha Road () is a main road connecting Sai Kung Town, Sai Kung and Ma On Shan (town), Ma On Shan. It begins at the roundabout at Sai Kung Town, Mak Pin, Sai Kung and passes through Three Fathoms Cove and Shap Sze Heung before traversing the new town of Ma On Shan and Wu Kai Sha and ending at Hang Tak Street in Tai Shui Hang. The MTR Tuen Ma line track section between Heng On station and Wu Kai Sha station is placed directly above Sai Sha Road. Other than MTR stations, several estates lie next to the road. The length of the road is approximately 11.2 km. Despite the road having close to no slope, it includes many bends. History Construction of the road began in the late 1970s. New Territories
The New Territories is one of the three main regions of Hong Kong, alongside Hong Kong Island and the Kowloon Peninsula. It makes up 86.2% of Hong Kong's territory, and contains around half of the population of Hong Kong. Historically, it is the region described in the Convention for the Extension of Hong Kong Territory. Wu Kai Sha Station
Wu Kai Sha is the northeastern terminal station on the of the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) system in Hong Kong. It is located between Sai Sha Road and Sha On Street in , also identified with Wu Kai Sha to its west, serving the housing estates and schools nearby. It was originally named "Lee On station" when the Ma On Shan line was under construction, for its proximity to the Lee On Estate on its southwest. Sha Tin District
Sha Tin District is one of the 18 districts of Hong Kong. As one of the 9 districts located in the New Territories, it covers the areas of Sha Tin, Tai Wai, Ma On Shan, Fo Tan, Siu Lek Yuen, and Ma Liu Shui. The district is the most populous district in Hong Kong, with a population of 659,794 as per 2016 by-census, having a larger population than many states or dependencies including Iceland, Malta, Montenegro and Brunei. Sai Kung District
Sai Kung District is one of the 18 districts of Hong Kong, a special administrative region of China. The district comprises the southern half of the Sai Kung Peninsula, the Clear Water Bay Peninsula in the New Territories and a strip of land to the east of Kowloon. Areas in the district include Sai Kung Town, Hong Kong UNESCO Global Geopark, Tseung Kwan O and over 70 islands of different sizes. Shui Long Wo
Shui Long Wo () is an area of Hong Kong, part of Kei Ling Ha, in the eastern New Territories of Hong Kong. Administratively, it is part of Tai Po District. Sha Tin New Town
Sha Tin New Town, or known as Sha Tin-Ma On Shan New Town or Sha Tin Town is one of the satellite towns and new towns of Hong Kong. It is within the Sha Tin District, the New Territories. The New Town covers the neighbourhoods such as Sha Tin, Tai Wai, Fo Tan, Tai Shui Hang, Ma On Shan. The Shing Mun River runs through the middle of the town. Nai Chung is a countryside and a village in northeastern New Territories, Hong Kong. It is located at the east of Ma On Shan, partly lying within the Ma On Shan Country Park. Nai Chung lies in a larger area collectively known as Shap Sze Heung. Heng On Station
Heng On () is a station on the of Hong Kong MTR, named after the nearby Heng On Estate. It also serves other residential areas like Kam Fung Court, Kam On Court, Baycrest, Vista Paradiso, and Yiu On Estate. It also serves over 10 schools (including Renaissance College) and two sports centres – Ma On Shan Sports Ground and Heng On Sports Centre. Sai Kung Town () or simply Sai Kung () is a town on the Sai Kung Peninsula, facing Sai Kung Hoi (Inner Port Shelter), part of Sai Kung District in the New Territories, Hong Kong. Sai Kung is the central hub of nearby surrounding villages, and hence the name may also refer to the areas in its immediate surroundings. Tuen Ma Line
The Tuen Ma line () is a rapid transit line that forms part of the Mass Transit Railway (MTR) system in Hong Kong. Coloured brown on the map, the Tuen Ma line is in length, making it the longest line of the MTR network. It has a total of 27 stations, more than any other in the MTR system. The Tuen Ma line is a merger of the two former MTR lines, the West Rail line and the Ma On Shan line, via a new stretch of mostly-underground railway known as the "Tai Wai to Hung Hom section" () of the Sha Tin to Central Link project, consisting of of track and six new intermediate stations.
