Krishna Ballabh Sahay
Krishna Ballabh Sahay ( hi, कृष्ण बल्लभ सहाय; 31 December 1898 – 3 June 1974) ,fondly known as K B Sahay was an Indian freedom fighter, who after Indian Independence became the Revenue Minister of Bihar and then became the fourth Chief Minister of unified Bihar. Early life Krishna Ballabh Sahay popularly known as K.B.Sahay was born in an Ambashtha Kayastha Sanatan family on 31st December 1898 at Sheikhpura in Patna district of Bihar. He was the eldest son of Munshi Ganga Prasad, who served as a Darogha under British Rule British Raj at Padma Hazaribagh. In 1919, he graduated with first class in B.A. Hons. Acharya Shivpujan Sahay
Acharya Shivpujan Sahay (9 August 1893 – 21 January 1963) was a noted Hindi and Bhojpuri novelist, editor and prose writer. He contributed in pioneering modern trends in, as well as in fiction. His texts ''"Mata ka Anchal"'' also printed in CBSE Book. In the text ''Mata ka Anchal'', he has shown a wonderful bond with mother. He also conferred him with Padma Bhushan award by the Government of India. Shri Subodh Kant Sahay (born 11 June 1951) is an Indian politician. He served as three term MP (Lok sabha) of India. He represented the Ranchi constituency of Jharkhand and is a member of the Indian National Congress (INC) political party. He had been holding important portfolios. Shyam Nandan Sahay
Shyam Nandan Sahay was an Indian landlord, educationist, legislator and the founder vice chancellor of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar Bihar University. Born in the Indian state of Bihar, he also served as the vice chancellor of Patna University. He was a member of the 1st Lok Sabha, elected from Muzaffarpur Central constituency on Indian National Congress candidature. He won from Muzaffarpur again in 1957 but died in the same year. The Government of India awarded him the third highest civilian honour of the Padma Bhushan, in 1957, for his contributions to education. A road in Muzaffarpur is named after him. Ganga Sahai
Ganga Sahai, also known as Ganga Sahaya, was a late 19th-century Sanskrit scholar. He was the Dewan of Bundi State in British India from 1877 to 1913. Ganga Sahai belonged to the Nyaya school of Hindu philosophy. He transliterated and translated the Bhagavata Purana from archaic Sanskrit to a more easily understood form of Sanskrit being spoken at that time in the scholarly community. This commentary is known as "Anvitartha Prakashika". His work was published by the Venkateshwara Press in Bombay, India in 1901. In all, he wrote 127 books during his life (1877–1930) including "Vans Prakash" which details the history of Bundi State. Sahai was born in a highly educated family of Brahmins in the village of Patan, District Sikar, Rajputana. Amit Sahai (born 1974) is an American computer scientist. He is a professor of computer science at UCLA and the director of the Center for Encrypted Functionalities. Biography Amit Sahai was born in 1974 in Thousand Oaks, California, to parents who had immigrated from India. He received a B.A. in mathematics with a computer science minor from the University of California, Berkeley, summa cum laude, in 1996. At Berkeley, Sahai was named Computing Research Association Outstanding Undergraduate of the Year, North America, and was a member of the three-person team that won first place in the 1996 ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest. Sachchidanand Sahai is an Indian epigraphist, writer and the scientific advisor to the Government of Cambodia for restoration of Angkor Wat and the Temple of Preah Vihear, known for his knowledge on Khmer civilization.
