Sahasa Simha
''Sahasa Simha'' () is a 1982 Indian Kannada-language action crime thriller film directed by Joe Simon and produced by M. Pandurangan and M. Ramalingam. The film stars Vishnuvardhan, Kajal Kiran, Rajya Lakshmi and Vajramuni. The film has musical score by Chellapilla Satyam. Cinematography was handled by H. G. Raju. The film is based on the novel ''Chakravyuha'' by Manu but the similarities with Ronald Neame's film ''The Odessa File'' (1974) have been widely discussed. The film centers around a child kidnapping racket operating in Bombay. Inspector Pratap (Vishnuvardhan) has been ordered to bring the people running the racket to justice. The film was a huge box office success. The film was a milestone in the Kannada film industry, achieving cult status in Karnataka. Tiger Prabhakar (30 March 1948 – 25 March 2001), also known as Kannada Prabhakar, was an Indian actor known for his works predominantly in Kannada and Telugu cinema, with a few Malayalam, Tamil and Bollywood films. Career Prabhakar started his film career by appearing in a negative role in small-budget movies. Kanglish quotes Prabhakar introduced Kanglish into Kannada movies. Thoogudeepa Srinivas
Mysore Srinivas (17 April 1943 – 16 October 1995), known by his stage name Thoogudeepa Srinivas was an Indian actor who appeared in Kannada films and is remembered for his portrayal of negative-shaded characters. He is the father of actor, Darshan and film director Dinakar. Early life Srinivas was born to Muniswami and Parvathamma in 1943 as their fourth son. He had eight siblings. He lost his parents at a young age. Right from his childhood days, Srinivas was interested in theatre and cinema and was a regular participant in his school and college plays. During one of these plays, he caught the eye of another theatre artist M. P. Shankar, whom he later went on to star with in many Kannada films.
