Wisdom, sapience, or sagacity is the ability to contemplate and act using knowledge, experience, understanding, common sense and insight. Wisdom is associated with attributes such as unbiased judgment, compassion, experiential self-knowledge, self-transcendence and non-attachment, and virtues such as ethics and benevolence. Nicole Vogel is an American magazine publisher and author. She is the cofounder and publisher of ''Portland Monthly'', a regional magazine covering Portland, Oregon. She received the 2007 Oregon Entrepreneurs Network Entrepreneurship Award for Individual Achievement, the second woman to receive the honor. Career Vogel started her publishing career with a job at ''Leaders Magazine'' in New York. In 2002, she got a job at Turner Broadcasting, and within three years was the vice president of strategy. Vogel's work for Turner focused specifically on business development for CNN's interactive properties.
