Safarnama () is an Indian Hindi-language travel documentary television series produced by Sinashh Films that has aired on Epic TV since August 2020. The show is hosted by television actor Ankit Siwach and is based on his travel journey starting from Mumbai and ending in Ladakh, covering other parts of India in between. Kargil
Kargil ( lbj, ) is a city and a joint capital of the union territory of Ladakh, India. It is also the headquarters of the Kargil district. It is the second-largest city in Ladakh after Leh. Thang, Ladakh
Thang (also called Dhothang, Thanga Chathang) is a small village in the Leh district of Ladakh, India. It is in the historical Chorbat region of Baltistan, divided between India and Pakistan by the 1972 Line of Control. Thang is part of the Nubra tehsil and the Turtuk community development block. The village was seized from Pakistan along with three other villages in the area as a result of the Indo-Pakistani War of 1971. It is 2.5 kilometers from the line of control. Turtuk
Turtuk ཏུར་ཏུཀ་ is a village and the headquarters of an eponymous community development block in the Indian union territory of Ladakh. It is a small village sandwiched between Karakorum Range and Himalayas. and one of the northernmost villages of India, close to the Line of Control between India and Pakistan. Turtuk is situated in the Nubra tehsil of the Leh district, on the banks of the Shyok River. Sarchu
Sarchu (also known as Sir Bhum Chun) is a major halt point with tented accommodation in the Himalayas on the Leh-Manali Highway, on the boundary between Himachal Pradesh and Ladakh in India. It is situated between Baralacha La to the south and Lachulung La to the north, at an altitude of . The journey along the Manali-Leh highway normally takes two days, so travellers and tourists stop overnight here. An Indian army camp is sited nearby on the banks of the Tsarap Chu river.
