Sadqay Tumhare
''Sadqay Tumhare'' ( ur, , lit=May My Years Be Added To Yours) is a Pakistani biographical drama serial based on the life of the series own writer Khalil-Ur-Rehman Qamar. It is directed by Mohammed Ehteshamuddin and co-produced by Momina Duraid, Smina Humayun Saeed and Tariq Ahmad Shah. It stars Mahira Khan, Samiya Mumtaz and Adnan Malik, who made his acting debut with this serial. Based on writer's own real life love story, the series which is set in the 1980's, revolves around Shano and Khalil who are engaged since childhood but their family's past threatens their love. Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar ( ur, ) is a Pakistani writer, director, Urdu poet, lyricist and occasional actor known for writing such dramas as ''Pyarey Afzal'' (2013), ''Sadqay Tumhare'' (2014) and most recently the top-rated ''Meray Paas Tum Ho'' (2019-2020), as well as the 2019 ISPR-produced film ''Kaaf Kangana''. Early life and career Khalil ur Rehman Qamar was born in 1962 in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. He studied in a government high school in Shad Bagh, Lahore. Rehan Sheikh is a Pakistani film and television actor, director, writer, film maker and producer. For his portrayal of Hafiz Ilyas in social drama '' Inkaar'', he received critical praise and a nomination of Best Actor at Lux Style Awards. Personal life Sheikh was born in London to veteran journalist Aslam Sheikh (d. 2003), who served as director-general of the Associated Press of Pakistan and was also "among the pioneers of economic journalism in Pakistan", whose older brother was a film director and screenwriter. Dawn News is one of Pakistan's 24-hour Urdu news channel. Based in Karachi, the station is a subsidiary of Pakistan Herald Publications Limited (PHPL), Pakistan's largest English-language media group.
