''Sadhu Mirandaa'' () is a 2008 Indian Tamil-language comedy thriller film directed by Siddique, starring Prasanna, Abbas, and Kavya Madhavan. Karunas and Manoj K. Jayan play supporting roles. The music was composed by Deepak Dev, and cinematography was done by Prathap Kumar. The film released on 8 February 2008. The story is about the transformation of a common man into gangster. It was Abbas's 50th film as an actor. The film is a remake of the Telugu film '' Maaro''; however, due to its shelved release at the time ''Sadhu Miranda'' ended up releasing first. The film is loosely based on director's own 1995 Malayalam film ''Mannar Mathai Speaking'' which was based on the 1958 movie ''Vertigo''. Plot The movie begins with a robbery of 20 crores at the DID bank in Pondicherry, which belongs to the minister (Kota Srinivasa Rao). Siddique Ismail is an Indian film director, screenwriter, actor and producer who predominantly works in Malayalam cinema. He made his directorial debut with the Malayalam movie '' Ramji Rao Speaking'' in 1989. As a screenwriter, he made his debut in the Malayalam movie ''Pappan Priyappetta Pappan'' in 1986. Manivannan Rajagopal (31 July 1953 – 15 June 2013), better known by his mononym Manivannan, was an Indian film director, actor and activist who worked mainly in Tamil cinema and also worked in a few Telugu & Malayalam films.
