The Sacramento Convention Center Complex is a complex of entertainment venues and a convention center located in downtown Sacramento, California. The complex consists of the SAFE Credit Union Performing Arts Center (formerly Community Center Theater), the Sacramento Memorial Auditorium, and the Jean Runyon Little Theater. The Convention Center features an exhibit hall with of programmable space, of exhibit space, 2 ballrooms, and 37 meeting rooms. In 2019, the convention center underwent a major expansion, with the original 1974 portion of the convention center was torn down and rebuilt, adding more than of space. Steppenwolf was an American-Canadian rock band that was prominent from 1968 to 1972. The group was formed in late 1967 in Los Angeles by lead singer John Kay, keyboardist Goldy McJohn, and drummer Jerry Edmonton, all formerly of the Canadian band the Sparrows.
