Sacha McNeil
Sacha McNeil is a New Zealand journalist and news presenter, She presented TV3 program '' Nightline'' from 2011 to 2013. She previously presented '' Firstline'' alongside Michael Wilson. McNeil has been a TV reporter and presenter since 1999, including appearing in '' One News'', '' Breakfast'' and ''Tonight'' shows, before joining the ''3 News'' and ''Sunrise'' teams in August 2007, where she worked alongside her father Bob McNeil. McNeil presented the news on early morning programme Sunrise till 2010 and then became presenter of the 3 News Midday bulletin. She then later became a presenter for Nightline. She gave birth to a girl in 2009. McNeil left her presenting position in 2011 on maternity leave, with Ingrid Hipkiss filling in. A news presenter – also known as a newsreader, newscaster (short for "news broadcaster"), anchorman or anchorwoman, news anchor or simply an anchor – is a person who presents news during a news program on TV, radio or the Internet. ''Sunrise'' was a New Zealand breakfast television news and current affairs programme which was broadcast live on TV3. It aired from 7.00am to 9.00am weekdays, and the show featured all the latest current affairs, News, Sport, Business and Weather. The programme followed '' ASB Business'' at 6.30am. The ''New Zealand Woman's Weekly'' is a weekly New Zealand women's magazine published by Are Media. , it had a circulation of 82,040, third by paid sales after ''TV Guide'' and ''New Zealand Woman's Day''. History On 8 December 1932, journalists Otto Williams and Audrey Argall launched the magazine, with 7,000 copies on newsprint. Williams took the role of managing director, and Argall was the first editor. Due to financial difficulties, they were forced to sell the magazine after three months. Ellen Melville ran the magazine for a few weeks, before the magazine's printer, F. S. Proctor, and his wife, took over.
