Roberto Sacasa Sarria (27 February 1840 – 2 June 1896) was the President of Nicaragua from 5 August 1889 to 1 January 1891 and again from 1 March 1891 to 11 July 1893. Ancestry He was the son of Juan Bautista Sacasa Méndez and Casimira Sarria Montealegre, daughter of Ramón de Sarria y Reyes and Francisca Montealegre Romero (sister to Mariano Montealegre y Romero), themselves the offspring of Mariano Ignacio Montealegre Balmaceda and Casimira Romero Sáenz. Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa (born 1973) is an American playwright, screenwriter, and comic book writer best known for his work for Marvel Comics and for the television series ''Glee'', ''Big Love'', '' Riverdale'', ''Chilling Adventures of Sabrina'' and '' Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin''. Juan Bautista Sacasa (21 December 1874 in León, Nicaragua – 17 April 1946 in Los Angeles, California) was the President of Nicaragua from 1 January 1933 to 9 June 1936. He was the eldest son of Roberto Sacasa and Ángela Sacasa Cuadra, the former's cousin twice removed. He was a relative of Benjamín Sacasa. Born in the town of León, Sacasa studied in the United States from 1889 to 1901, earning an M.D. from Columbia University. He served as a professor and dean of faculty at the National University in León, and was a supporter of the Liberal regime of José Santos Zelaya. In 1924, Sacasa became a member of a political coalition headed by moderate Conservative Carlos Solórzano. Shortly afterwards, the detachment of U.S. Marines which had remained in Nicaragua for thirteen years withdrew, believing that the political situation was stable. Guillermo Sevilla Sacasa (September 11, 1908, Leon, Nicaragua – December 16, 1997 Potomac, Maryland, United States ) was the Nicaraguan ambassador to the United States from 1943 until July 19, 1979, when President Anastasio Somoza Debayle was forced into exile following the Nicaraguan Revolution. Benjamín Lacayo Sacasa (27 June 1893 – 4 April 1959) was the President of Nicaragua from 27 May to 15 August 1947. He was born in Granada, Nicaragua. Lacayo Sacasa was the president of the lower chamber of National Congress of Nicaragua in 1933 and 1947. On 26 May 1947, he was installed with the help of former president Anastasio Somoza García, the commander of the army, who had become dissatisfied with his recently elected successor, Leonardo Argüello. She represented her nation at the 1992 Summer Olympics on the track in the women's sprint and individual pursuit. Anselmo Sacasas (23 November 1912 – 22 January 1998) was a Cuban jazz pianist, bandleader, composer, and arranger.
