Sabra Williams, BEM is a British actress and presenter. Family Williams was born in London to parents of British, Russian, Romanian, Guyanese and Carib descent. Early career Williams started performing at the age of three and became a professional dancer and actress. She starred in several British films, including 'Steffi' in ''Thin Ice'' with Ian McKellen and James Dreyfuss, and was a regular face in many British television series including an appearance as Lise Yates in episode "Thanks for the Memory" of the sci-fi comedy, ''Red Dwarf''. British Empire Medal
The British Empire Medal (BEM; formerly British Empire Medal for Meritorious Service) is a British and Commonwealth award for meritorious civil or military service worthy of recognition by the Crown. The current honour was created in 1922 to replace the original medal, which had been established in 1917 as part of the Order of the British Empire. Jean-Baptiste Poquelin (, ; 15 January 1622 (baptised) – 17 February 1673), known by his stage name Molière (, , ), was a French playwright, actor, and poet, widely regarded as one of the greatest writers in the French language and world literature.
