Sabina Valbusa
Sabina Valbusa (born 21 January 1972 in Verona) is an Italian cross-country skiing (sport), cross-country skier who competed from 1993 to 2010. Biography Competing in five Winter Olympics, she earned a bronze medal in the 4 × 5 km relay at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin. Her best individual finish was a ninth in the 5 km + 5 km combined pursuit at the 2002 Winter Olympics in Salt Lake City. Valbusa earned three medals in the 4 × 5 km relay at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships (silver: FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 1999, 1999, bronze :FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2001, 2001, FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 2005, 2005). Her best individual finish was a fourth in the individual sprint in 2001. Her only individual victory came at Pragelato, Italy in a 15 km event in 2004. FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 1999
The FIS Nordic World Ski Championships 1999 took place February 19–28, 1999 in Ramsau am Dachstein, Austria. The large hill ski jumping events took place at the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen. The 7.5 km Nordic combined sprint event debuted at these championships. Fulvio Valbusa (born February 15, 1969 in Verona) is an Italian cross-country skier who competed from 1992 to 2006. He won two medals in the 4 × 10 km relay at the Winter Olympics with a gold in 2006 and a silver in 1998. He also finished fifth in three other cross-country events at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano (10 km + 15 km combined pursuit, 30 km, and 50 km). Valbusa also won five medals at the FIS Nordic World Ski Championships, including one silver (15 km: 2005) and four bronzes (10 km + 15 km combined pursuit: 1999, 4 × 10 km relay: 1995, 1997, 1999).
