A film producer is a person who oversees film production. Either employed by a production company or working independently, producers plan and coordinate various aspects of film production, such as selecting the script, coordinating writing, directing, editing, and arranging financing. ''Kalloori'' () is a 2007 Indian Tamil-language coming-of-age drama film by director Balaji Sakthivel. The movie was produced by S. Shankar's banner S Pictures. ''Veyil'' ( en, Sunshine, italics=yes or ''Sun Blaze'') is a 2006 Indian Tamil-language drama film written and directed by Vasanthabalan.
