''S Club'' is the debut studio album by British pop music, pop group S Club 7. It was released by Polydor Records on 4 October 1999. The album was primarily produced by Stargate (production team), StarGate, Absolute (production team), Absolute, Dufflebag Boys, Eliot Kennedy and Mike Percy. ''S Club'' became one of the group's most successful album releases, and reached number two in the United Kingdom, where it was certified double platinum. ''S Club'' was released in North America on 11 April 2000 after their television show ''S Club 7 in Miami'' was aired in the United States, where it peaked outside the top 100. S Club 7
S Club 7 were a British pop group from London, created by former Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller and consisting of members Bradley McIntosh, Hannah Spearritt, Jo O'Meara, Jon Lee, Paul Cattermole, Rachel Stevens and Tina Barrett. The group was formed in 1998 and quickly rose to fame by starring in their own BBC television series, ''Miami 7''. In their five years together, S Club 7 had four UK number-one singles, one UK number-one album, and a string of hits throughout Europe as well as a Top 10 hit on the US Hot 100, with their 2000 single " Never Had a Dream Come True". ''Boyfriends & Birthdays'' is the second one-off programme from the British pop group S Club 7. It first aired on 12 December 1999 and was produced for CBBC. In this movie, the cast proceeds with their long drive from Miami to Los Angeles and Rachel receives an ultimatum from her English boyfriend to return home. She is then forced to choose between remaining in S Club 7 and losing her boyfriend or leaving the group to stay with him. Plot Rachel is missing her boyfriend, and calls him from a telephone booth. He tells her that if she does not come back to England, their relationship is over. Rachel is left unsure about what course of action to take. The other members of the group decide to raise money for Rachel to return home by means of busking. They succeed in getting enough money for the trip and Rachel sets off to England, leaving S Club 7. Kim Fuller (born 15 June 1951 in Hastings, England) is an English writer for film, radio and television. He is the brother of music manager and ''Idols'' series creator Simon Fuller. Career Kim Fuller has been writing for television for over 40 years but is largely known for writing the television and film aspects of Simon Fuller's artists. Nigel Lythgoe OBE (; born 9 July 1949), also known as Nasty Nigel, is an English television and film director and producer, television dance competition judge, former dancer in the Young Generation and choreographer. In this movie, the cast proceeds with their long drive from Miami to Los Angeles – when they suddenly find themselves in the 1950s, having travelled back in time. The episode itself is a parody of the films '' Grease'' and ''Back to the Future''. Plot S Club 7 are driving from Miami to Los Angeles. Rachel points out the milometre has reached all the nines.
