NBC Sunday Night Football
''NBC Sunday Night Football'' (abbreviated as ''SNF'') is an American weekly television broadcast of National Football League (NFL) games on NBC and Peacock in the United States. It began airing on August 6, 2006, with the Pro Football Hall of Fame Game, which opened that year's preseason. NBC took over the rights to the Sunday prime time game telecasts from ESPN, which carried the broadcasts from 1987 to 2005. At the same time, ESPN began broadcasting ''Monday Night Football'' when it was dropped from sister network ABC. Previously, NBC had aired American Football League (AFL), and later American Football Conference (AFC), games from 1965 until 1997, when CBS took over those rights. During the 2011–12 season, ''Sunday Night Football'' became the first sports program to hold the position as Nielsen's most-watched program on U.S. network television during the year, beating ''American Idol'', which held that honor for eight consecutive seasons beginning in 2004; ''Sunday Nig ...

Somali National Front
The ''Somali National Front (SNF)'' ( Somali: ''Dhaqdhaqaaqa Jabhada Soomaliyeed'') was a politico-military organization that operated in southern Somalia during the Somali Civil War and represented one of the major factions involved in the conflict. After its creation following the collapse of President Siyaad Barre's government in 1991, the SNF was largely made up of remnants of the Somali National Army, along with splinter groups from the ''Somali Democratic Movement'' (SDM) and supporters of Barre. The SNF would eventually merge into the internationally recognized Transitional National Government of Somalia in 2001. History Origins (1991 to 1993) After the fall of President Mohamed Siad Barre's government in 1991, many members of his Marehan sub-clan faced collective punishment and war crimes at the hands of anti-Barre rebel groups, particularly the ''United Somali Congress'' (USC). As a result, large numbers of the clan were forced to flee central Somalia, including ...

National League Of Sweden
The National Youth League of Sweden ( sv, Sveriges nationella ungdomsförbund ; SNU) was the first youth organisation of the General Electoral Union of Sweden. It was dislodged from its mother party in 1934 due to its pro-Nazi stance. It was then reconstructed as a separate political party, the National League of Sweden. After the Second World War, the political fortunes of the group dwindled. As the right-wing youth league SNU was founded on October 16, 1915, at Hotell Kronprinsen in Stockholm. The organisation, though never formally recognized, became the youth referent of the General Electoral Union. During the late 1920s SNU became politically radicalized. The radicalization was accentuated by the election of Elmo Lindholm as the SNU chairman. In 1931 the organization had 35,460 members, and was steadily growing. Eventually SNU organised a militant ''kamporganisation'' (struggle organisation, modelled after the German SA) which were supposed to combat political enemies i ...

Smith Normal Form
In mathematics, the Smith normal form (sometimes abbreviated SNF) is a normal form that can be defined for any matrix (not necessarily square) with entries in a principal ideal domain (PID). The Smith normal form of a matrix is diagonal, and can be obtained from the original matrix by multiplying on the left and right by invertible square matrices. In particular, the integers are a PID, so one can always calculate the Smith normal form of an integer matrix. The Smith normal form is very useful for working with finitely generated modules over a PID, and in particular for deducing the structure of a quotient of a free module. It is named after the Irish mathematician Henry John Stephen Smith. Definition Let ''A'' be a nonzero ''m''×''n'' matrix over a principal ideal domain ''R''. There exist invertible m \times m and n \times n-matrices ''S, T'' (with coefficients in ''R'') such that the product ''S A T'' is \begin \alpha_1 & 0 & 0 & & \cdots & & 0 \\ 0 & \alpha_2 & 0 & ...

Server Normal Format
Server Normal Format (SNF) is a bitmap font format used by X Window. It is one of the oldest X Window font formats. Nowadays it is rarely used, however it is still supported by the latest X.org server. SNF fonts had the problem of being platform dependent, therefore they needed to be compiled on each system. In 1991, X11 moved away from SNF fonts to Portable Compiled Format, which could be shared between systems. See also *Glyph Bitmap Distribution Format *Portable Compiled Format Portable Compiled Format (PCF) is a bitmap font format used by X Window System in its core font system, and has been used for decades. Skilled Nursing Facility
A nursing home is a facility for the residential care of elderly or disabled people. Nursing homes may also be referred to as skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care facilities. Often, these terms have slightly different meanings to indicate whether the institutions are public or private, and whether they provide mostly assisted living, or nursing care and emergency medical care. Nursing homes are used by people who do not need to be in a hospital, but cannot be cared for at home. The nursing home facility nurses have the responsibilities of caring for the patients' medical needs and also the responsibility of being in charge of other employees, depending on their ranks. Most nursing homes have nursing aides and skilled nurses on hand 24 hours a day. In the United States, while nearly 1 in 10 residents age 75 to 84 stays in a nursing home for five or more years, nearly 3 in 10 residents in that age group stay less than 100 days, the maximum duration covered by Medicare, ...

Neurotransmitter Sodium Symporter
A neurotransmitter sodium symporter (NSS)TC# 2.A.22 is type of neurotransmitter transporter that catalyzes the uptake of a variety of neurotransmitters, amino acids, osmolytes and related nitrogenous substances by a solute:Na+ symport mechanism. The NSS family is a member of the APC superfamily. Its constituents have been found in bacteria, archaea and eukaryotes. Function Neurotransmitter transport systems are responsible for the release, re-uptake and recycling of neurotransmitters at synapses. High affinity transport proteins found in the plasma membrane of presynaptic nerve terminals and glial cells are responsible for the removal, from the extracellular space, of released-transmitters, thereby terminating their actions. The majority of the transporters constitute an extensive family of homologous proteins that derive energy from the co-transport of Na+ and Cl−, in order to transport neurotransmitter molecules into the cell against their concentration gradient. Neurotransm ...
