SV Wehen
SV Wehen Wiesbaden is a German association football club based in Wiesbaden, Hesse. Since the beginning of the 2007–08 season the club no longer plays its home games in Taunusstein, where they were originally located. In the summer of 2007 ''Wiesbaden'' was added to the original name of ''SV Wehen''. The club currently competes in the 3. Liga. History Amateur Football (1926–1994) The club was founded under the name of ''SV Wehen 1926 – Taunusstein'' in 1926 and disbanded by the Nazi government in 1933, although the football department was maintained by playing occasional friendly matches until 1939. The club re-established itself in 1946, following World War II. They operated both first and reserve teams from the beginning, with their first team competing in local amateur division, the B-Klasse Wiesbaden. BRITA-Arena is a football stadium in Wiesbaden, Germany. It is the home ground of 3. Liga side SV Wehen Wiesbaden. The stadium is named after its former main sponsor Brita, a German company specialised in producing water filters, and replaced the Stadion am Halberg in Taunusstein as SV Wehen's home ground. Ahmet Ege Gürleyen (born 26 April 1999) is a German professional footballer who plays as a centre-back for 1. FC Nürnberg. Club career Gürleyen began his football career in Berlin and played for the U-17 teams of Hertha Zehlendorf and Tennis Borussia Berlin. For the 2016–17 season he moved to 1. FSV Mainz 05, where he started on the U-19 team and from 2018 for the second team in the Regionalliga.
