''Hot Summer'' was a Cantopop album by Leslie Cheung released in 1988 by Hong Kong record company Cinepoly and followed on the heels of the success of Cheung's '' Summer Romance'' the year before. Like ''Summer Romance'', the album also featured a collaboration with Japanese musicians. Its songs were considerably popular and these included "Hot Summer", 貼身 ("Close Proximity"), 無需要太多 ("Don't Need Too Much"), 沉默是金 ("Silence is Golden"), 繼續跳舞 ("Keep on Dancing"), and 内心爭鬥 ("Inner Struggle"). The song "Close Proximity" won the Jade Solid Gold Award in 1988 and was among the popular songs in Hong Kong for that year. Track 10 ("Love Again") is a Cantonese cover of Glenn Frey's 1982 song " The One You Love" from album '' No Fun Aloud''. ''Pinocchio'' is the debut studio album by South Korean girl group f(x), released on April 20, 2011 by SM Entertainment. "Pinocchio (Danger)" was released as the album's title track on April 17 as a digital single. The album was the 19th best-selling album in 2011 in South Korea. A repackaged version, ''Hot Summer'' was released on June 14 by SM Entertainment. It included four new tracks, the title track and new song "Hot Summer", the previously released song "...Is It Ok?" and the group's first singles "LA chA TA" and "Chu~♡" released in 2009. The repackaged was the 31st best-selling album in 2011 in South Korea. The album sold 107,669 copies combined in 2011. Hot Summer (song)
"Hot Summer" is a song by German pop group Monrose. It was written and produced by Danish musicians Remee Sigvardt and Thomas Troelsen and recorded by the trio for their second studio album, '' Strictly Physical'' (2007). A dance-pop song with heavy elements of electropop, house and sprechgesang, it was selected out of sereral hundreds of songs and set much of the tone of its parent album, which was chiefly produced by Remee and Troelsen. "Hot Summer" also introduced a stronger dance pop edge to Monrose's overall sound. Lyrically, it features a female protagonist expressing her desire for her love interest.
