STS Group
STS Group is a Bangladeshi conglomerate company servicing healthcare and education. Under the Group, two subsidiary companies namely STS Holdings Ltd for Healthcare and STS Capital Limited (former STS Educational Group Ltd) for Education sector was formed. The majority of the shares are owned by British International Investment, a United Kingdom government investment fund. History STS Group was founded in 1997 by merging Shanta Group, Tropica Group and Sepal Group, the three business houses that were operating independently. The acronym S-T-S came from the first three letters of these three corporate business houses in Bangladesh. The group's goal was to provide healthcare and education with participation of local and foreign entrepreneurs. It established International School Dhaka in 1998 and is located in Bashundhara Residential Area. It established International Training Centre in 2006. Rashed Khan Menon
Rashed Khan Menon (born 18 May 1943) is a Bangladeshi politician. He is the president of Workers Party of Bangladesh and was elected as the Member of Parliament (MP) for Dhaka-8 in the 2008 general election. Menon was re-elected at the 2014 general elections. He is the chairman of the Parliamentary Standing Committee of the Ministry of Education. Earlier, he served as the Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism. Early life Menon was born in Faridpur. He studied at Dhaka Collegiate School, finish in 1958. In 1960, he passed intermediate in arts group from Dhaka College. He graduated from Dhaka University in 1963 with a degree in economics. Tipu Munshi (born 25 August 1950) is a Bangladeshi politician who has served as the Awami League Member of Parliament for Rangpur-4 since January 2009. Evercare Hospital Dhaka is a JCI accredited 425-bed multidisciplinary super specialty tertiary care hospital in Dhaka, Bangladesh and part of Evercare Group. He served a member of the Bangladeshi parliament from the Sylhet-6 constituency from 15 years, being elected in 1996, 2008, 2014, and 2018.
