STAR Erasmus Consultancy Project
The STAR Erasmus Consulting (SEC), formerly known as STAR Erasmus Consultancy Project, is a project of STAR (student association), STAR, the study association of the Rotterdam School of Management, Rotterdam School of Management (RSM), Erasmus University Rotterdam, Erasmus University Rotterdam (EUR). SEC is the largest non-profit student research project in the Netherlands. It is a consultancy project in which tailor-made research is offered to Dutch companies that have an interest in expanding their business to an emerging country. Every year, the SEC project is carried out by 25 carefully selected students of the Rotterdam School of Management (RSM) Erasmus University. Each year, two professors guide the project to uphold the (academic) quality of the project. STAR (''St''udy ''A''ssociation ''R''otterdam School of Management, Erasmus University) is a study association for business administration students of the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University at the Erasmus University Rotterdam based in Rotterdam, Netherlands. STAR was founded in 1977 and currently has 6,500 members, being the largest student-led study association of Europe. STAR has 52 committees and an annual revenue of €0.42 million. The three core values held by STAR are ''Social, Academic and Career Start Support''. Well-known events organized by STAR include their anniversary celebration, the STAR Party.
