Super Star Mahesh Babu
Ghattamaneni Mahesh Babu (born 9 August 1975) is an Indian actor, producer, media personality, and philanthropist who works mainly in Telugu cinema. He has appeared in more than 25 films, and won several accolades including, eight Nandi Awards, five Filmfare Telugu Awards, four SIIMA Awards, three CineMAA Awards, and one IIFA Utsavam Award. One of the highest-paid Telugu film actors, he also owns the production house G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment. The younger son of veteran Telugu actor Krishna, Babu made his debut as a child artist in a cameo role in ''Needa'' (1979), at the age of four, and acted in eight other films as a child artist. He made his debut as a lead actor with ''Rajakumarudu'' (1999) which won him Nandi Award for Best Male Debut. Babu achieved his breakthrough with the supernatural drama '' Murari'' (2001), and the action film '' Okkadu'' (2003). ''Guntur Kaaram'' (; ) is a 2024 Indian Telugu language, Telugu-language action drama film written and directed by Trivikram Srinivas and produced by S. Radha Krishna through Haarika & Hassine Creations. It features Mahesh Babu in the lead role, alongside Sreeleela, Meenakshi Chaudhary, Prakash Raj, Ramya Krishna, Jayaram, Jagapathi Babu, Sunil (actor), Sunil and Rao Ramesh. The film was officially announced in May 2021 under the tentative title ''SSMB28,'' as it is Babu's 28th film in the leading role, and the official title was announced in May 2023. Principal photography commenced in September 2022, predominantly shot in Hyderabad, and Wrap (filmmaking), wrapped by late-December 2023. The film's score and soundtrack are composed by Thaman S, with cinematography handled by Manoj Paramahamsa and editing handled by Naveen Nooli.
