SNK Gals' Fighters
''SNK Gals' Fighters'' is a 2-dimensional 1-on-1 versus fighting game which appeared on the Neo Geo Pocket Color in 2000. The game was ported to the Nintendo Switch in the eShop on April 29, 2020, to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Neo Geo system. Gameplay ''Gals' Fighters'' features female characters from various SNK franchises, where the characters compete in the aptly named Queen of Fighters tournament, organized by a mysterious "Miss X", with whoever being able to defeat "Miss X" (in reality, Iori Yagami dressed as a woman) being given the K' Talisman, which grants any wish. The characters' sprites were drawn in the same anime super deformed style as other fighters on the system. The game plays similar to other NGPC fighting games, such as King of Fighters R-1 and R-2, although slightly faster, and with 1-on-1 matches. Yumekobo
Aicom was a Japanese video game developer, founded in 1988, possibly by a group that left Jaleco . Despite evidence to support this, the Sammy corporate website lists 1990 as the first year and that it was a subsidiary. It was bought by Sammy Industry in 1992. Their games include ''The Mafat Conspiracy'', ''Totally Rad'' and '' Vice: Project Doom'' on the Nintendo Entertainment System, '' Blaster Master Boy'' for the Game Boy and '' Pulstar'' for Neo Geo. Aicom broke off from Sammy in 1996, and with funding from SNK is a Japanese video game hardware and software company. It is the successor to the company Shin Nihon Kikaku and presently owns the SNK video game brand and the Neo Geo video game platform. ''Fatal Fury 2'', known as in Japan, is a 1992 fighting video game released by SNK for the Neo Geo arcade and home platforms, and later ported to several other home systems. It is the sequel to '' Fatal Fury: King of Fighters'' (1991) and the second game in the ''Fatal Fury'' franchise. Its updated version, ''Fatal Fury Special'', was released in 1993. The game is notable for introducing Kim Kaphwan, the first Taewondo and the first Korean character in fighting games, and Mai Shiranui, one of SNK's mascots and their primary sex symbol and one of the most well-known female video game characters. ''Samurai Shodown 64'', known as in Japan, is a 3D fighting game produced by SNK for its Hyper Neo-Geo 64 system. It was SNK's first 3D fighting game. After having released four ''Samurai Shodown'' games on the Neo-Geo, SNK announced that they would be producing a new arcade hardware platform, this one 64-bit and with extensive 3D capabilities. Although it was never ported to home consoles, it was followed by a second 3D installment titled '' Samurai Shodown 64: Warriors Rage''. Nakoruru
is a fictional character in the ''Samurai Shodown'' (''Samurai Spirits'' in Japan) series of fighting games by SNK. She is one of the series' best known and most popular characters alongside its main protagonist Haohmaru, and has been introduced in the original ''Samurai Shodown (1993 video game), Samurai Shodown'' in 1993. Nakoruru is a good-hearted, young Ainu people, Ainu shrine maiden who loves nature and fights evil with the help of her hawk sidekick Mamahaha. ''(KOF '97)'' is a fighting game produced by SNK for the Neo Geo arcade and home console in 1997. It is the fourth game in ''The King of Fighters'' series. It was ported to the Neo-Geo CD, as well as the PlayStation and the Sega Saturn in Japan only.
