SIIMA Award for Best Lyricist – Telugu is presented by Vibri media group as part of its annual South Indian International Movie Awards, for the best lyrics done by a writer for a Telugu song. The award was first given in 2012 for songs and films released in 2011. Suddala Ashok Teja
Suddala Ashok Teja (born Gurram Ashok Teja; 4 April 1954) is an Indian poet and lyricist known for his work in Telugu cinema and Telugu literature. He has written lyrics for over 2200 songs. He won the National Film Award for Best Lyrics for the song "Nenu saitam" from ''Tagore'' (2004). Early life Suddala Ashok Teja was born in Suddala village of Jangaon district, Telangana to Telugu poet Suddala Hanmanthu and his wife Janakamma. Bhaskarabhatla Ravi Kumar is an Indian lyricist predominantly works in Telugu cinema. He worked for more than 125 films and penned lyrics for more than 390 songs. He extensively worked with director Puri Jagannadh and music director Chakri and S. S. Thaman. He is famous for songs appealing to the masses. His primary genres are mass, romantic, and melodies. 2nd South Indian International Movie Awards
The 2nd South Indian International Movie Awards were presented on September 12–13, 2013 in Sharjah (emirate), Sharjah, UAE, to honour the best cinematic achievements of the South Indian film industry in the year 2012. Initially planned for June 20–21, the date was postponed due to "100 years of Indian cinema" jubilee festivities. Chegondi Anantha Sriram is an Indian songwriter who predominantly works in Telugu cinema. Career Sriram has written lyrics for 990 Telugu film songs in his fourteen-year-long career in the industry. ''Manam'' () is a 2014 Indian Telugu-language fantasy drama film written and directed by Vikram Kumar, and produced by the Akkineni Family under the Annapurna Studios banner. Sirivennela Seetharama Sastry (born Chembolu Seetharama Sastry; 20 May 1955 – 30 November 2021) was an Indian poet and lyricist known for his works in Telugu cinema and Telugu theatre.
