SGN (company)
SGN (previously Scotia Gas Networks) is a British gas distribution company. It manages natural and green gas distribution networks in Scotland and in the south of England. As of 2014/15 SGN operates more than of pipes. In the same period, SGN spent £500million on upgrading the network. History The company was formed in 2005 as Scotia Gas Networks. From that year it was 50% owned by SSE plc. In September 2014 it was renamed SGN. SSE sold 16.7% of the company to the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority in 2016. In March 2021, SSE sold its remaining one-third share for £1225 million, and the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority sold its one-sixth holding. Tân Sơn Nhất International Airport ( vi, Sân bay quốc tế Tân Sơn Nhất or Cảng hàng không quốc tế Tân Sơn Nhất) is the busiest airport in Vietnam with 32.5 million passengers in 2016 and 38.5 million passengers in 2018. It serves Ho Chi Minh City as well as the rest of southeastern Vietnam. As of January 2017, it had a total capacity of only 25 million passengers, which has caused constant congestion and sparked debate for expanding or building a new airport. The airport's IATA code, SGN, is derived from the city's former name of ''Saigon''. It was the 25th busiest airport in the world in 2020. South Greenford railway station is in the London Borough of Ealing in west London, and is on the Greenford branch in Travelcard Zone 4. It is down the line from and measured from . All trains serving South Greenford are operated by Great Western Railway. The station is located on the A40, south of Greenford Green, north-east of Greenford Broadway, and just west of Perivale. History The Greenford branch of the Great Western Railway (GWR) had been used for regular passenger services since 1904, but the halt at South Greenford did not open until 20 September 1926. ''Some Good News'' is a 2020 American web series created and hosted by American actor and filmmaker John Krasinski on YouTube, which premiered on March 29, 2020. Krasinski self-funded and co-produced the show with his production company, Sunday Night Productions, and filmed each episode remotely from his home in Brooklyn during the COVID-19 pandemic. After eight episodes and a live-streamed prom, a report from the ''Hollywood Reporter'' announced that the show was sold to ViacomCBS on May 22, 2020. Krasinski later confirmed that he dropped plans for any adaptations to the show and that it would be kept in its original format. Krasinski brought the show back for a holiday special on YouTube in December 2020. The ''Seattle Gay News'' is a weekly newspaper aimed at the Seattle and Puget Sound area LGBT community in the U.S. state of Washington. History ''Seattle Gay News'' was founded in 1974 by Jim Tully and Jim Anderson. As of 2022, the SGN is distributed to every library in the King County Library System, Seattle Public Library System, and Pierce County Library System, as well as roughly 115 other locations in Seattle and Tacoma. Former editor George Bakan was an LGBTQ+ activist in Seattle and acted as head of the SGN from 1984 until his death in 2020. SGN files are preserved in the Washington State History Museum in Tacoma.
