The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is an Android (operating system), Android smartphone developed and produced by Samsung Electronics. It was unveiled during a Samsung press conference at Internationale Funkausstellung Berlin, IFA Berlin on 3 September 2014 and was released globally in October 2014 as successor to the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. Improvements include expanded stylus (computing), stylus-related functionality, an optical image stabilization, optically stabilized rear camera, significantly Qualcomm Quick Charge, increased charging rate, revised Window (computing), multi-windowing, and fingerprint scanner, fingerprint lock screen, unlocking.
