Sender Freies Berlin (; abbreviated SFB ; ) was the ARD public radio and television service for West Berlin from 1 June 1954 until 1990 and for Berlin as a whole from German reunification until 30 April 2003. On 1 May 2003 it merged with Ostdeutscher Rundfunk Brandenburg to form ''Rundfunk Berlin-Brandenburg''. History Pre-war In 1922, the ''Deutsche Stunde, Gesellschaft für drahtlose Belehrung und Unterhaltung mbH'' (German Society for Wireless Instruction and Entertainment Limited) was formed to promote the new science of radio broadcasting and reception. This institution began broadcasting on 29 October 1923 from Berlin. SfB-Oure FA (), is an association football club based in the town of Svendborg, Denmark, that competes in the Danish 3rd Division, the fourth tier of the Danish football league system. Founded in 2018 as an elite superstructure of Svendborg fB and Oure FA, it is affiliated to DBU Funen. The team plays its home matches at Høje Bøge Stadium where it has been based since its foundation. ''Star Fleet Battles'' (SFB) is a Military tactics, tactical board wargame set in an offshoot of the ''Star Trek'' setting called the Star Fleet Universe. Originally created in 1979 by Stephen V. Cole, it has had four major editions. The current edition is published by Amarillo Design Bureau as ''Star Fleet Battles, Captain's Edition''. ''Star Fleet Battles'' is a ship-to-ship warfare simulation game, which uses cardboard Counter (board wargames), counters to represent the ships, shuttles, seeking weapons, terrain, and information on a hexagonal map.
