Sanlih Entertainment Television or Sanlih E-Television (SET; ) is a nationwide cable TV network operated in Taiwan which was founded in May 1993. It also produces Taiwanese drama that are broadcast on free-to-air channels e.g. Taiwan Television (TTV). In terms of political orientation, Sanlih leans heavily towards the Pan-Green Coalition. Sanlih Drama Awards
The ''Sanlih Drama Awards'' () was an annual awards ceremony that celebrated the best in SETTV drama programming. The awards were created in 2011 to help promote, celebrate and award Sanlih E-Television dramas that aired in the year. The first ceremony was held on 12 December 2012 and was originally called the "Thanks Party" (三立華劇感恩派對). No nomination list was released for the 2012 awards. Winners were announced during the ceremony. The ceremony was held each year in December at SETTV headquarters in Neihu District, Taipei. The last awards ceremony was held in 2016. Voting In 2013 the awards became more establish with a nomination list and voting system. MTV Mandarin is a 24-hour music channel that airs Chinese and international music programs owned by Paramount Networks EMEAA. One of the first three MTV Asia channels along with MTV Asia and MTV India. MTV Mandarin has two different feeds (Taiwan & China). SET iNews Channel () is a Taiwanese 24-hour news channel, broadcasting predominantly in Mandarin, owned by Sanlih E-Television and launched in May 2011 as SET Finance (), switching to its current name on 26 June 2017. It is a sister channel of SET News, launched in 1998. Compared to SET News, whose format is general news, SET iNews broadcasts more financial and slightly more international news. Nevertheless, both channels share resources, including reporters and presenters, and, until mid-2021, especially during off-peak hours ( late night and early mornings, as well as weekends), simulcast and/or repeated some programming premiered in the other network. SET News (SETN; ) is a 24-hour news channel of the Sanlih E-Television in Taiwan, launched in March 1998. SET News and sister channel SET iNews are considered media outlets leaning towards the Pan-Green coalition. SET News is available on YouTube with its Digital on-screen graphic, DOG reading ''Sanlih LIVE Hsinwen'' ().
