SC Emma
Sportclub Emma is an association football club from Dordrecht, Netherlands. Its first squad plays in the Derde Klasse since 2019. Its colors are red and blue. History 1910s–1930s: Foundation and the early years SC Emma was founded on 1 May 1911. In the 1930–1931 season it played in the Derde Klasse D of the KNVB. 1940s–1950s: Eerste Klasse and professional football In September 1940, four months after the Nazis occupied the Netherlands, Emma beat VIOS 10–0. SC Emma promoted to the Dutch top tier, at that time the Eerste Klasse, in 1941. In 1946 it returned to the Tweede Klasse and in 1950 it promoted again to the Eerste. Dordrecht (), historically known in English as Dordt (still colloquially used in Dutch, ) or Dort, is a city and municipality in the Western Netherlands, located in the province of South Holland. Wim Van Der Gaag
Wim van der Gaag (born 14 July 1936 in Rotterdam) is a retired professional association football player in the Netherlands and in Australia, known for his frequent change of teams. Van der Gaag's position was forward. Later, he became a manager of amateur clubs and a football reporter for various radio stations. Football career Player Wim van der Gaag played in his youth in the now-defunct RFC Rotterdam. In 1954 he turned professional in the short-lived NBVB league, scoring the second goal of BVC Rotterdam on 7 November 1954, in a game that ended in a 2–3 loss against BVC Den Haag. Virgil Breetveld
Virgil Breetveld (born 10 July 1967) is a Dutch football coach and former professional player. Career Born in Rotterdam, Breetveld played youth football for Steeds Hoger and Germinal Schiebroek, before signing for Feyenoord at the age of 17. Breetveld had not considered a professional football career, but was encouraged to pursue it by his coach Dick Beek, who himself had been a professional player. He made his debut for the first-team in April 1988. He later played for SVV, Dordrecht, De Graafschap, Excelsior and Fortuna Düsseldorf. He was top scorer of the Eerste Divisie in the 1994–95 season. Richard Kohn
Richard Kohn (27 February 1888 – 16 June 1963) was an Austrian football player and later coach of FC Bayern Munich, FC Barcelona and Feyenoord Rotterdam. He was Jewish, born in Vienna. His nickname was ''Dombi'' or ''Little Dombi'', meaning little eminence. He was also known as John Little(s), Jack Domby, ''De hongaarse wonderdokter'' (the Hungarian wonder doctor), and Ricardo Domby. ''Het Vrije Volk'' was a Dutch social-democratic daily newspaper. It was the successor, after World War II, of the socialist daily '' Het Volk''. The paper appeared legally 1 March 1945 in Eindhoven. From 28 January 1946, all subdivisions of the newspaper were united and a national edition was introduced. For a time, it was the biggest newspaper in the Netherlands and at its peak it had over 300 editors and reporters. After 1958, the number of subscribers decreased rapidly. The newspaper disappeared in 1970 as a national newspaper from Amsterdam, only regional editions remained and at the end of 1971 only Rotterdam was its home base.
