SC Egedal
Sports Club Egedal (; simply known as SC Egedal or SCE) was a Danish football club from Egedal which was founded on 1 July 2011. The club was the result of a partial merger between the women's and men's senior teams of Stenløse Boldklub and Ølstykke FC. At the extraordinary general assemblies of the two parent clubs in January and February 2011, the members of the clubs voted by a large majority to merge the two senior departments, and the Danish Football Association (DBU) approved the partial merger on 2 April 2011. The Zealand-based team played their home matches at Ølstykke Stadium, which has a total capacity of 3,000 spectators (of which 752 seated). The club was a member of DBU and the local football association, DBU Zealand, and played in red jersey, navy blue shorts and navy blue socks. Within men's association football, the top two professional levels contain one division each. Zealand Series ( da, Sjællandsserien, SS, Herre Sjællandsserien) is the highest division for men organized by the regional association DBU Sjælland and one of the sixth-highest divisions overall in the Danish football league system. Gentofte-Vangede Idrætsforening (commonly known as GVI) is a Danish football club based in the Copenhagen suburban area Vangede. The club was founded 21 August 1921 and has since the foundation been playing at Nymosen Sports Park. The club was founded as merger between Gentofte Boldklub and Vangede Idrætsforening before the start of the 1921–22 tournament administrated by the Zealand Football Association (SBU). The Denmark Series ( da, Danmarksserien) is the fifth tier in the Danish football league system. Teams are divided into four groups of ten. The top team in each group is promoted to the Danish 3rd Division. The bottom three teams in each group are relegated to the regional Copenhagen Series, Zealand Series, Lolland-Falster Series, Funen Series, or Jutland Series as is appropriate for each club geographically. The 2nd Division ( da, Danmarksturneringens 2. division or Herre-DM 2. division) is a semi-professional association football league for men and the third division in Denmark. It is organised by the Divisionsforeningen on behalf of the Danish Football Association (Danish FA; DBU) as part of the nation-wide Danmarksturneringen i fodbold (Herre-DM) and is positioned between the second-tier 1st Division and the fourth-tier Danish 3rd Division in the Danish football league system. Veksø Helmets
Veksø is a small town located between Ballerup and Ølstykke- Stenløse in Egedal, some 20 km northwest of Copenhagen, Denmark. The town is on a hill, surrounded by meadows and bogland. Veksø station is served by the Frederikssund radial of the S-train network. History The area south of Veksø is the site of a large, shallow-watered lake which was called Vigsø until the 18th century. The name (Veksø) also referred to a castle which may have belonged to Skjalm Hvide of the influential Hvide dynasty. The estate was later owned by Christian I who gave it to Roskilde Cathedral in 1450. After the Reformation, Veksø was confiscated by the crown. The castle had probably been destroyed in the Counts' Feud or may simply have fallen into despair after losing its importance after Copenhagen had been established as Denmark's new capital.
