SCREEN3
SCREEN3 is a technology used and designed by Motorola to push news and information to mobile phones. Functionality The SCREEN3 feature functions by downloading headlines and displaying these to the user as part of the contents of the ''idle screen''. After the user has configured which feeds or channels are of interest, feed updates are continuously and automatically pushed to the handset via packet data transfers which happen in the background. While viewing the small images and accompanying headlines ("bites") which scroll by on the screen, users can choose to view a snippet of the actual story ("the snack"). Users then are taken to a condensed summary version of the story or headline. At this point, if the story is deemed sufficiently interesting, users can opt to view the full story ("the meal"), causing the web browser to be launched to retrieve the appropriate web page. Motorola Rizr (, styled RIZR) is a series of slide mobile phones from Motorola, and is one of the series in the 4LTR line. The first model was released in late 2006. It is a sliding phone (in the style of competing Samsung and LG phones), where the numeric keys are hidden beneath the screen of the phone when closed. Design and appearance The Rizr Z3 uses a technical form factor, where the user can push on a plastic ''push bar'' located under the screen in order to open the phone. When opened, the top portion slides upwards, revealing the standard keys (including numeric, star, and pound keys).
