Lagoa dos Patos (, , ; English: ''Ducks' Lagoon'') is the largest lagoon in Brazil and the largest coastal lagoon in South America. It is located in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, southern Brazil. The Jacuí River, Jacuí-Guaíba River, Guaíba and Camaquã Rivers empty into it, while the navigable São Gonçalo Channel, which enters Lagoa dos Patos near the town of Pelotas, connects Lagoa dos Patos to Lagoa Mirim to the south. Camaquã State Park
The Camaquã State Park pt, Parque Estadual do Camaquã is a State park (Brazil), state park in the state of Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil. The park is in the transition between the pampas and Atlantic Forest biomes, mostly in the latter. It was created to protect the wetlands of the Camaquã River lagoon delta, including the Banhado do Caipira, Rincão do Escuro and many islands. It covers the banks of the Lagoa dos Patos from the Banhado do Caipira to the pontal, and covers the Camaquã river valley up to the settlement of Pacheca.
