The men's 200 metre freestyle competition of the swimming events at the 2011 World Aquatics Championships took place July 25 and 26. Ryan Steven Lochte ( ; born August 3, 1984) is an American professional swimmer and 12-time Olympic medalist. He collected a bronze medal in the 200 m freestyle at the 2007 European Junior Swimming Championships in Antwerp, Belgium.
