Gwangju
Gwangju () is South Korea's sixth-largest metropolis. It is a designated metropolitan city under the direct control of the central government's Home Minister. Brooke Forde
Brooke Forde (born March 4, 1999 in Louisville, Kentucky) is an American swimmer. The daughter of sportswriter Pat Forde and his wife Tricia, the latter a former swimmer at Northwestern University, she grew up around the sport, with both of her older brothers going on to swim in NCAA Division I. She swam for Lakeside Swim Club in Louisville, Kentucky. According to a 2021 story by local Louisville journalist Rick Bozich, "As her parents remember it, Brooke had ''one'' swimming lesson. She learned by sitting with her mom at practice and then mimicking her brothers." She set her first Kentucky state record as an 8-year-old, and a year later recorded that year's best age-group time in the U.S. in the girls' 50m butterfly. Rebecca Meder (born 31 July 2002) is a South African swimmer. She is the African record holder in the 100 metre individual medley and the South African record holder in the long course and short course 200 metre individual medley. At the 2022 World Short Course Championships, she placed sixth in the final of the 100 metre individual medley. In the 200 metre individual medley at the 2022 Commonwealth Games, she placed fourth in the final. At the 2021 African Championships, she won 11 gold medals, six in individual events and five in relay events, swimming on the finals relay for each of the five relay events. Nguyễn Thị Ánh Viên (born November 9, 1996 in Cần Thơ) is a national-record holding swimmer from Vietnam. She swam for Vietnam at the 2016 Olympics. At the 2014 Asian Games, she won Vietnam's first-ever medal in Swimming. She has been named Vietnam's Athlete of the Year in both 2013 and 2014.
