The Georgia Tech Campus Recreation Center (abbreviated CRC, formerly known as the Georgia Tech Aquatic Center and the Georgia Tech Student Athletic Center) is part of the Georgia Institute of Technology, Georgia Tech campus. Nina Zhivanevskaya
Nina Aleksandrovna Zhivanevskaya (russian: Нина Александровна Живаневская, born 24 June 1977) is a 5-time Olympic backstroke swimmer from Russia, who has swum for Spain since 1999, following her marriage to a Spaniard (and moving to Spain). She swam at the 1992 Olympics for the Unified Team, Russia at the 1996 Olympics, and Spain at the 2000, 2004 and 2008 Olympics. At the 1992 Games, she won a bronze medal in the 4×100 m medley relay, and was the youngest member of the Unified Team swimming squad (18 men and 11 women), with 15 years and 35 days. She won the bronze medal in the 100 m backstroke a year later at the 2000 Olympics in Sydney, Australia. Zhivanevskaya took part in the 2008 Olympic Games, reaching the semi-finals in the 100 m backstroke. Since retiring from swimming Livingstone has had careers as a television sports commentator and media presenter and as a sports administrator. Marianne Kriel (born August 30, 1971, in Bellville, Western Cape) is a former backstroke and freestyle swimmer from South Africa, who won the bronze medal in the 100 m backstroke at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta, Georgia. Met with Nelson Mandela. She spent some time training at Southern Methodist University (SMU) where she met close friends Tia Gibson and her daughters Meg and Katie. Kriel also participated in the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona, Spain, and received the President's Award in 1993 and 1996. Kriel was the first woman to captain a multi-code team to the 1994 Commonwealth Games and the 1995 All-Africa Games.
