Swat Sports Complex is located in Swat, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. The Sports Complex was formally opened on 29, November 2010. History & Development Swat Sports Complex started functioning on 29 November 2010. The sports complex was formally inaugurated by Brig Hamayun Aziz and was funded by Pakistan Army. The complex was initially open for civil servants but later the general public was also allowed membership by paying nominal fee. Swat District (, ps, سوات ولسوالۍ, ) is a district in the Malakand Division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. With a population of 2,309,570 per the 2017 national census, Swat is the 15th-largest district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province. Swat District is centered on the Valley of Swat, usually referred to simply as Swat, which is a natural geographic region surrounding the Swat River. Hayatabad Sports Complex is a sports academy located in Hayatabad, Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in Pakistan. It was formally inaugurated after renovation by PTI chairman Imran Khan in October 2016. It is owned by the Government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. History & Development Hayatabad Sports Complex, Peshawar was originally constructed in early 1990s and had sporting facilities for all major sports. However, in the late 1990s, the sports facility was turned into commercial hub, private party arena, along with a marriage hall.
