Svetozar Bukvić
Svetozar Bukvić ( sr-cyr, Светозар Буквић; 25 April 1958–13 April 2020) was a politician in Serbia. He was the mayor of Kula from 2006 to 2011 and served in the Assembly of Vojvodina from 2008 to 2012. Bukvić was a member of the Democratic Party (''Demokratska stranka'', DS). Early life and private career Bukvić was born in the village of Lipar in Kula, Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, in what was then the People's Republic of Serbia in the Federal People's Republic of Yugoslavia. He graduated from the University of Novi Sad's Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in 1981, worked as a designer with the company ''Inomag'' from 1985 to 1992, and was then a teacher of mechanical engineering at the secondary school ''"Mihajlo Pupin"'' in Kula until 2002. 2008 Vojvodina Provincial Election
Provincial elections were held for the unicameral Assembly of Serbia's northern Autonomous Province of Vojvodina on 11 May 2008, with a second-round to be held on 25 May 2008. They were scheduled by the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Oliver Dulić on 29 December 2007, as required per the Constitutional Law adopted by the National Assembly of Serbia on 30 September 2006 that proclaimed the new Constitution. Negotiations regarding the new electoral law in the current provincial assembly had failed. The Democratic Party (Serbia) wanted to add 12 guaranteed seats in the parliament for national minorities next to the existing 120, but the proposal didn't reach much overall support. Liberal Democratic Party (Serbia)
The Liberal Democratic Party ( sr-cyrl, Либерално демократска партија, Liberalno demokratska partija, LDP) is a liberal political party in Serbia. It is led by Čedomir Jovanović. István Pásztor (politician)
István Pásztor (; sr, Иштван Пастор, Ištvan Pastor; born 20 August 1956) is a Serbian politician who has been the president of the Assembly of Vojvodina since 2012. An ethnic Hungarian, he has led the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians since 2008. He graduated from the University of Novi Sad Faculty of Law. Currently, Pásztor is the chairman of the Alliance of Vojvodina Hungarians and president of the Assembly of Vojvodina. Nenad Čanak
Nenad Čanak ( sr-Cyrl, Ненад Чанак, ; born 2 November 1959) is a Serbian politician. He is the co-founder and former leader of the centre-left League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina. He was the President of the Assembly of Vojvodina from 2000 to 2004, and until 2020 he was a member of the National Assembly of Serbia. Olena Papuga ( sr-cyr, Олена Папуга; born June 10, 1964) is a Serbian politician. She served in the National Assembly of Serbia from 2008 to 2020 as a member of the League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina (LSV). Boris Tadić ( sr-cyr, Борис Тадић, ; born 15 January 1958) is a Serbian politician who served as the president of Serbia from 2004 to 2012. Born in Sarajevo, he graduated from the University of Belgrade with a degree in psychology. He later worked as a journalist, military psychologist, and as a teacher at the First Belgrade Gymnasium. G17 Plus
G17 Plus was a centre-right political party in Serbia. Founded as a non-governmental organization dealing with economic issues, in 2002 it transformed into a political party that became part of several ruling coalition governments in Serbia throughout the 2000s and early 2010s.
