''Survivors' Guide to the United Kingdom'' is a supplement published by Game Designers' Workshop (GDW) in 1990 for the post-apocalyptic role-playing game ''Twilight: 2000''. Content In the original ''Twilight: 2000'' game, many of the first adventures centred around a military unit stranded in Central Europe following a fictional World War III known in the game as the "Twilight War". ''Survivors' Guide to the United Kingdom'' gives details of how to create a campaign setting for adventures set in Great Britain. Game Designers' Workshop
Game Designers' Workshop (GDW) was a wargame and role-playing game publisher from 1973 to 1996. Many of their games are now carried by other publishers. History Game Designers' Workshop was originally established June 22, 1973. The founding members consisted of Frank Chadwick, Rich Banner, Marc Miller, and Loren Wiseman. GDW acquired the Conflict Games Company from John Hill in the early 1970s. GDW published a new product approximately every twenty-two days for over twenty years. In an effort to bridge the gap between role players, board wargamers and miniature wargamers, the company published RPGs with fantastic settings alongside games with realistic themes including rulesets for 15mm and 20mm miniatures set during the American Civil War, World War I, World War II, and the modern era; and boardgames involving these eras such as the ''Air Superiority'' series and ''Harpoon''. Radley Masinelli
Radley is a village and civil parish about northeast of the centre of Abingdon, Oxfordshire. The parish includes the hamlet of Lower Radley on the River Thames. It was part of Berkshire until the 1974 boundary changes transferred it to Oxfordshire. The village is home to Radley College, a famous boarding independent school for boys from the age of thirteen to eighteen that consists of 690 pupils. Parish church The Church of England parish church of Saint James the Great was built in about 1290. The church is built of stone, but unusually its roof is supported by wooden pillars installed by a medieval Abbot of Abingdon, who was told in a vision to ''"seek hemin the forest"''. The present south aisle dates from the 14th century but the chancel, nave and bell tower were rebuilt in the 15th century.
