Esther Mujawayo
Esther Mujawayo (born 1958) is a Rwandan sociologist and psychotherapist. She survived the Rwanda genocide against the Tutsi in 1994, but lost many members of her family. She is the author of several books. In 1994, she founded the ''Association of Widows of the Rwandan Genocide''. She gained a Graduate Diploma in Psychology from the University of East Anglia in 1997. The ''Worlds of Aldebaran'' (french: Les Mondes d'Aldébaran) is a French science-fiction comic series written and illustrated by Léo and published by Dargaud in French and Cinebook in English. The ''Aldebaran'' saga is divided into 5 cycles: ''Aldebaran'' and its sequels ''Betelgeuse'', ''Antares'', ''Survivors'', ''Return to Aldebaran'' and ''Neptune''. Each cycle is composed of three to six albums, and each corresponds to a different planet. Although it is possible to read the cycles separately, they are chronological to form a coherent whole. Each cycle (and thus planet) introduces new secondary characters, although the central heroes of the story remain constant. 2011 saw the release of a new volume, ''Survivors'' (french: Survivants), which introduced a new set of characters and takes place concurrently with ''Antares''. Paul Gillon
Paul Gillon (11 May 1926 – 21 May 2011) was a French comics artist. He won the 1982 Grand Prix de la ville d'Angoulême. Born in Paris, he considered fashion, theater and cinema, and only by accident made a career as a comics author. In the magazine '' Vaillant'', he continued the older series ''Lynx Blanc'', and created ''Fils de Chine'' and ''Cormoran''. From 1959 until 1972, he drew ' for ''France Soir'' and also did series for the '' Journal de Mickey''. François De Roubaix
François de Roubaix (3 April 1939, Neuilly-sur-Seine, Hauts-de-Seine – 22 November 1975, Tenerife, Canary Islands) was a French film score composer. In a decade, he created a musical style with new sounds, until his death in 1975. Biography Roubaix did not receive any formal education in music, but began studying jazz on his own at age 15, forming a band and learning trombone as an autodidact. His father, the Oscar-winning filmmaker , who was a producer of the short film, "An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge" and the creator of educational films, offered to let François compose scores for the latter. François' first film score was for a 1961 film by Robert Enrico; through the late 1960s and early 1970s he scored films for Enrico, Jose Giovanni, Jean-Pierre Melville, Jean-Pierre Mocky, and Yves Boisset. France Men's National Volleyball Team
The France national men's volleyball team represents the country in international competitions and friendly matches. It was the reigning European Champion in 2015 and is ranked 2nd (as of 25th July 2022) in the FIVB world ranking. France have been competing in the World League ever since the inaugural edition in 1990 and continuously since 1999. In 2006 they finished second to Brazil but had their share of disappointment in subsequent seasons. In 2009 they narrowly missed making the Final Six, falling at the last hurdle to Slovenia. They suffered another setback in 2010 when they again missed the finals and finished 12th. France competed at the Olympic Games for the fourth time in Rio 2016, finishing ninth.
