Suri People
Suri is a collective name for three ethnic groups (Suri Chai, Timaga, and Suri Baale) mainly living in Suri woreda, in southwestern Ethiopia. Suri is the collective name for all three subgroups. They share many similarities politically, territorially and culturally, but speak different languages. They all speak South East Surmic languages within the Surmic language family, which includes the Mursi people, Mursi, Majang people, Majang, and Mekan people, Me'en languages.
