''Sur scène'' is a 1992 album recorded by the trio Fredericks Goldman Jones. It was their first live album and second album overall. It was recorded between August and November 1991 in Vienna, Aix-les-Bains and Lyon and was released on 26 November 1992. It spawned a sole single which achieved success in France : "Il suffira d'un signe (live)" (#14), which was originally recorded for Goldman's first studio album, '' Démodé''. Album information The album contains seven songs from the trio's first studio album, plus four songs previously recorded in a studio version on his 1980s solo albums. The album debuted at number five on 16 December 1992 and climbed to number one two weeks later and stayed there for three consecutive weeks. It was ranked for 14 weeks in the top ten and for 26 weeks in the top 50. In 2000, it earned a Double platinum disc for over 600,000 copies sold. Fredericks Goldman Jones
Fredericks Goldman Jones was the name of a famous French musical trio made up of Jean-Jacques Goldman, Carole Fredericks and Michael Jones. Established in 1990, it remained active until 1996. After the amicable separation of the trio and the continuation of each in their solo musical careers, the three remained very close friends and continued to perform on special concerts together. The trio released two hugely successful albums, the self-titled ''Fredericks Goldman Jones'' in 1990 and ''Rouge'' in 1993. The song " À nos actes manqués" remains their most famous song. "Là -bas" is a 1987 song recorded as a duet by the French singer Jean-Jacques Goldman and the British-born artist Sirima. It was the second single from Goldman's 1987 double album ''Entre gris clair et gris foncé''. It was a smash hit in France and became a popular song throughout the years. The European Top 100 Albums chart was the European adaptation of the ''Billboard'' 200 albums chart. It ran from March 1984 until December 2010. Also commonly referred to as Eurochart Top 100 Albums, the chart showcased the sales of an act in 19 European countries based on IFPI data. The European Top 100 combined album sales (both retail and digital) of new and older albums. The methodology was different from the US ''Billboard'' 200, where albums would only be allowed to chart if they weren't 18 months old.
