''Supergame'' is a role-playing game originally published by DAG Productions in 1980, and now published by Precis Intermedia Gaming, Precis Intermedia. Description ''Supergame'' is a superhero system featuring "build-it-yourself" character construction, with superpowers, rules for flying and magic, plus a combat system, armor and weapons, scenario suggestions, and campaign guidelines. Publication history ''Supergame'' was designed by Jay Hartlove and Aimee Hartlove, Aimee Karklyn, and was published by DAG Productions in 1980 as a 64-page book. The second edition was published in 1982 as a 40-page book featuring a color cover. The first and second editions are now published as a single volume by Precis Intermedia Gaming, Precis Intermedia, with a third edition also available. Precis Intermedia (formerly ''Politically Incorrect Games'' and ''Spectre Press'') publishes downloadable PDF-based and traditional printed role-playing games. Superhero
A superhero or superheroine is a stock character that typically possesses ''superpowers'', abilities beyond those of ordinary people, and fits the role of the hero, typically using his or her powers to help the world become a better place, or dedicating themselves to protecting the public and fighting crime. Jay Hartlove
A jay is a member of a number of species of medium-sized, usually colorful and noisy, passerine birds in the Crow family, Corvidae. The evolutionary relationships between the jays and the magpies are rather complex. For example, the Eurasian magpie seems more closely related to the Eurasian jay than to the East Asian blue and green magpies, whereas the blue jay is not closely related to either. Role-playing or roleplaying is the changing of one's behaviour to assume a role, either unconsciously to fill a social role, or consciously to act out an adopted role.
