"Flaunt It" is a song by Australian dance music duo TV Rock, released the first single from their 2006 debut studio album, '' Sunshine City''. The song became a major success in the duo's home country, topping the ARIA Singles Chart for five weeks, and it also reached number three in New Zealand for three weeks. Background and success With no major record companies wanting to sign "Flaunt It", DJs Grant Smilie and Ivan Gough launched their own independent company, "Bimbo Rock". Their initial hope had been to sell a few hundred records in Australia, but the single went on to sell 130,000 physical single sales, 40,000 digital downloads and 65,000 ringtones downloads. Tyler Spencer (born January 22, 1972), also known as Dick Valentine, is an American singer, songwriter, musician, and author. He is best known as the lead vocalist, main lyricist, and co-founder of the rock band Electric Six. Career Spencer founded Electric Six in 1996, at which time the band was named the Wildbunch, but this was changed because another band had the same name. Tom Novy (born Thomas Reichold) is a DJ and producer from Munich, Germany. Biography Tom Novy lived in Munich in his youth and attended the Luitpold Gymnasium in Munich. In the mid-1980s he started to DJ and got his first residency at the Babalu Club. Novy started producing music in 1994 when he signed for the Munich-based record label Kosmo Records with his first record "I House U", a cover of the Jungle Brothers' "I'll House You", with lyrics by Novy. His original tracks ran more along the subgenre of European-flavoured progressive house. Since then, Novy has moved to a Chicago-style garage house sound, usually vocalized.
