"Sunrise" ( ko, 해야, Haeya) is a song recorded by South Korean girl group GFriend for their second studio album ''Time for Us'' (2019). It was also released as the group's third Japanese single and was later included in their debut Japanese studio album ''Fallin' Light'' (2019). Composition The song was written by Noh Joo-hwan who also produced the song alongside Lee Won-jong. Release Two teasers were released on January 5, 2019 and January 12, 2019, respectively. The song was released on January 14, 2019, in conjunction with their second studio album. Japanese version In Japan, the song was released as their second single on February 13, 2019. GFriend (stylized in all caps; ) was a South Korean girl group formed by Source Music in 2015. The group consisted of six members: Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji. They debuted with the extended play (EP) '' Season of Glass'' on January 15, 2015 and won several female rookie awards, garnering momentum early on despite being from a small company. GFriend continued their commercial success the next year with their third EP, ''Snowflake'', whose lead single " Rough" won first place on numerous music shows. They released their first studio album, ''LOL'', in 2016 as well. In 2017, GFriend returned with their fourth EP, ''The Awakening'', for which pre-orders exceeded 100,000 copies. ''Music Bank'' (; RR: ''Myujikbaengkeu'') is a South Korean music program which airs every Friday at 17:00 KST on KBS2. As of 2015, the show is also broadcast in more than a hundred countries through KBS World. Episodes are filmed at the KBS New Wing Open Hall in Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu. The show also organizes the global live concert ''Music Bank World Tour''. It is the second Asian ''Billboard'' chart after the Japan Hot 100. The chart used the same multimetric methodology as the US Hot 100 and rankings were compiled based on Hanteo Chart data, streaming and download data from Naver VIBE, and domestic radio and television music playback data. The ''Billboard Japan'' Hot 100 is a record chart in Japan for songs. It has been compiled by ''Billboard Japan'' and '' Hanshin Contents Link'' since February 2008.
