"Sun Is Shining" is a song by Jamaican reggae band Bob Marley & the Wailers, first appearing on the Lee Perry-produced album '' Soul Revolution Part II'' in 1971, and then on '' African Herbsman'' in 1973. Marley later re-recorded the song for his 1978 album '' Kaya''. In 1999, a remix by "Bob Marley vs. Funkstar De Luxe" reached number one on the US Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart and number three on the UK Singles Chart. Although having become one of the most popular Marley songs, "Sun Is Shining" used to be a fairly unknown and seldom-performed number during Marley's lifetime. Up to date, only two live performances are documented; however, both took place under special circumstances. On 16 June 1978, Marley performed at The Music Inn in Lenox, Massachusetts, a concert having been rescheduled twice since 1976, and played an over 2-hour set. "Sun Is Shining" is a song by Swedish dance music duo Axwell & Ingrosso. The song was released in Sweden on 12 June 2015 as the fourth single from their debut studio album '' More Than You Know''. The song was written by Sebastian Ingrosso, Salem Al Fakir, Axel Hedfors and Vincent Pontare. The song peaked at number 1 on the Swedish Singles Chart. The song features uncredited vocals from Al Fakir. Music video A music video to accompany the release of "Sun Is Shining" was first released onto YouTube on 12 June 2015 at a total length of four minutes and ten seconds. The video was shot in Antwerp, Belgium. "The Sun Is Shining Down" is a song written by J.J.Grey of the musical formation JJ Grey & Mofro. It is included in their 2007 album '' Country Ghetto''. Lost Frequencies made an adaptation and remix changing the title slightly to "Sun Is Shining" and included it in his 2018 album '' Alive and Feeling Fine''. "Sun Is Shining" was released on 9 August 2019 becoming a hit in Belgium, Felix de Laet's home country. Although not credited in the title, the featuring vocals of the song are those of Vince Freeman. The song is a crossover between House music of a religious theme and lyrics. Credits The lyrics are credited to J.J. Grey and the arrangement to Felix de Laet who uses the stage name Lost Frequencies in his productions. The 2018 album also includes a Delux Remix of the song as well. Mathis James Reed (September 6, 1925 – August 29, 1976) was an American blues musician and songwriter. His particular style of electric blues was popular with a wide variety of audiences. Reed's songs such as "Honest I Do" (1957), "Baby What You Want Me to Do" (1960), "Big Boss Man (song), Big Boss Man" (1961), and "Bright Lights, Big City (song), Bright Lights, Big City" (1961) appeared on both Billboard (magazine), ''Billboard'' magazine's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs, R&B and Hot 100 singles charts. Background The album was the first released on the group's newly formed Threshold record label, which was named after the band's previous album from the same year, ''On the Threshold of a Dream''.
