Subiaco (known colloquially as Subi) is an inner-Western suburbs (Perth), western suburb of Perth, the capital of Western Australia. It is approximately west of Perth's central business district, in the City of Subiaco local government area. Glendalough railway station is a railway station on the Transperth network in Perth, Western Australia. It is located on the Joondalup line, five kilometres from Perth station serving the suburb of Glendalough. History Glendalough station opened on 28 February 1993 in the median strip of the Mitchell Freeway where it crosses over Scarborough Beach Road via a bridge. In 2003, the contract for extending the platforms on seven Joondalup line stations, including Glendalough station, was awarded to Lakis Constructions. The platforms on these stations had to be extended by to accommodate long six car trains, which were planned to enter service. Bob Hawke College
Bob Hawke College is a public high school in the City of Subiaco and situated in the suburb of Subiaco, Western Australia. The school opened on 3 February 2020 with 250 Year 7 students, and is scheduled to expand to 1,500–2,000 students from Years 7 to 12 in 2025. The school integrates the playing surface of the former Subiaco Oval stadium into its campus, which was demolished in December 2019. The refurbished oval was open to students in May 2020, and to the general public the following month.
