Stubborn Youth Soccer Club is an association football club from Stubbs, St. Vincent and the Grenadines currently playing in the SVGFF South East Division, one of twelve regional leagues in the country. The team previously played in the NLA Premier League having qualified for the CFU Club Championship in 1997. History Founded in Stubbs, Stubborn Youth play their home games on the Stubbs Playing Field to a capacity of 1,000. A sporting ground usually used for cricket matches. In 1997 Stubborn Youth SC qualified for the CFU Club Championship after finishing as runners-up of their domestic league. In their first International tournament, facing off with SV Transvaal (Suriname), Seba United ( Jamaica) and Club Franciscain ( Martinique) the club lost all of their matches in the group stage making an early exit from the competition. The Saint Vincent and the Grenadines Football Federation (SVGFF) is the governing body of football in the island state of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines. It was founded in 1979 but only gained ascension into FIFA in 1988. CFU Club Championship
The Caribbean Club Championship, also known as the CFU Club Championship or CFU Club Champions' Cup, was an annual international football competition held amongst association football clubs that are members of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU). The Caribbean Club Championship served as a qualifying event for the CONCACAF Champions League tournament. The tournament was officially the Flow CONCACAF Caribbean Club Championship for sponsorship reasons from 2018 to 2022. With the expansion of the CONCACAF Champions League starting from the 2024 edition, the 2022 edition of the Caribbean Club Championship was the last held. Sport Vereniging Transvaal is a Surinamese association football club, which currently play in the Eerste Divisie, the top flight of football in Suriname. They play their home games in Paramaribo at André Kamperveen Stadion to a capacity of 7,100. Montego Bay United Football Club is a Jamaican football club based in Montego Bay.
