Stuart Jamieson
Stuart Jamieson (born October 22, 1951 in Saint John, New Brunswick) was a politician in the Province of New Brunswick, Canada. A self-employed carpenter, he was elected to the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick in 1987 and re-elected in 1991, 1995 and re-elected again in 2003 and 2006 after having been defeated in 1999. Saint John, New Brunswick
Saint John is a seaport city of the Atlantic Ocean located on the Bay of Fundy in the province of New Brunswick, Canada. Saint John is the oldest incorporated city in Canada, established by royal charter on May 18, 1785, during the reign of King George III. The port is Canada's third-largest port by tonnage with a cargo base that includes dry and liquid bulk, break bulk, containers, and cruise. The city was the most populous in New Brunswick until the 2016 census, when it was overtaken by Moncton. The Executive Council of New Brunswick (french: Conseil exécutif du Nouveau-Brunswick), informally and more commonly, the Cabinet of New Brunswick (french: Cabinet du Nouveau-Brunswick), is the cabinet of the Canadian province of New Brunswick. Milton A. Sherwood (born January 28, 1939 in Upham, New Brunswick) is a former politician in the Province of New Brunswick, Canada. In the early 1960s, he moved to Westfield, New Brunswick where he operated a printing business for many years. Sherwood studied at the University of New Brunswick in Fredericton, graduating in 1963 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree. A member of the Progressive Conservative Party, he was elected to the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick in 1995, 1999 and 2003. Doug Tyler is a political figure in the province of New Brunswick, Canada. Tyler was a member of the Legislative Assembly of New Brunswick from the 1987 election until his defeat in the 1999 election. He served in the cabinet from 1991 to 1999 overseeing various ministries, including a stint as Deputy Premier under Camille Thériault's leadership. Michael Barry Murphy (born January 25, 1958) is a New Brunswick lawyer and politician. Biography Murphy graduated from Moncton High School in 1976, from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Business Administration in 1980 and a Bachelor of Laws in 1983. He received his Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2002. A personal injury lawyer, Murphy was president of the New Brunswick Liberal Association from 1988-1993. In 2001, Murphy considered running for the leadership of the New Brunswick Liberal Party, but dropped out after forming an early campaign team. He supported Shawn Graham, the eventual winner.
