Stuart Elliott (footballer, Born 1978)
Stuart Elliott (born 23 July 1978) is a Northern Irish former professional footballer who played as a midfielder from 1998 to 2013. Elliott made a name for himself whilst with Motherwell and Hull City as well as being capped 39 times by Northern Ireland. He also played professionally for Glentoran, Doncaster Rovers, Grimsby Town, Hamilton Academical and Stirling Albion. He had initially retired in 2010 but came out of retirement to return to Glentoran for the 2012–13 season. Club career Glentoran Born in Belfast, Elliott started his career at St Andrews FC, from Belfast, then moved on to Glentoran (also in Northern Ireland) before joining Scottish Premier League club Motherwell. The County Antrim & District Football Association Senior Shield (more commonly known as the County Antrim Shield) is a football competition in Northern Ireland. The competition is open to senior teams who are members of the North East Ulster Football Association (also known as the County Antrim & District Football Association) (membership of which extends geographically beyond County Antrim itself), often plus intermediate teams who qualify via the Steel & Sons Cup, depending on the numbers required. For the 2010–11 and 2011-12 seasons, only the winners took part. The current Shield champions are Larne, who beat Linfield 1–0 in the 2021–22 final, winning the trophy for a second successive year. Exercise-induced asthma, or E.I.A., occurs when the airways narrow as a result of exercise. The preferred term for this condition is exercise-induced bronchoconstriction (EIB). While exercise does not cause asthma, it is frequently an asthma trigger. It might be expected that people with E.I.B. would present with shortness of breath, and/or an elevated respiratory rate and wheezing, consistent with an asthma attack.
