Strayz (commonly stylised as STRAYZ) is a self-financed Hong Kong Cantopop girl group A girl group is a music act featuring two or more women in music, female singers who generally vocal harmony, harmonize together. The term "girl group" is also used in a narrower sense in the United States to denote the wave of American female p ... formed through ViuTV's reality talent show '' King Maker IV'' in 2021. The group consists of five members: CK Wong, Valentina Cho, Wyllis Lam, Natalie Ho and Ariel Tsang. They debuted in April 2022, with their debut "Stray" released in July the same year. ''King Maker IV'' ( zh, t=全民造星IV) is a 2021 Hong Kong Reality television#Reality competition or game shows, survival reality show on ViuTV as fourth season of , accepting only female contestants. It aired from 30 October to 25 December 2021, with Marife Yau (Marf) being the champion, (Gao) being the first runner-up and (Day) being the second runner-up. Aftermath Yau, Shum and Simkhada, along with five other contestants , (So Ching), , and , formed the official girl group Collar (group), Collar after the competition, with their first single released on 13 January 2022. Cantopop (a contraction of "Cantonese pop music") is a genre of pop music sung in Cantonese. Cantopop is also used to refer to the cultural context of its production and consumption.
