The electoral district of Euroa is an electoral district of the Victorian Legislative Assembly in Australia. It was created in the redistribution of electoral boundaries in 2013. It was a new district created due to the abolition of the districts of Seymour, Rodney and Benalla, taking in the areas to the north of these districts toward Shepparton. The Division of Indi (pronounced ) is an Australian electoral division in the state of Victoria. The division is located in the north-east of the state, adjoining the border with New South Wales. The Shire of Strathbogie is a local government area in the Hume region of Victoria, Australia, located in the north-east part of the state. It covers an area of and in June 2018 had a population of 10,645. It includes the towns of Avenel, Euroa, Longwood, Nagambie, Strathbogie and Violet Town. It was formed in 1994 from the amalgamation of parts of the Shire of Euroa, Shire of Goulburn, Shire of Violet Town, Shire of McIvor and Rural City of Seymour. The Shire is governed and administered by the Strathbogie Shire Council; its seat of local government and administrative centre is located at the council headquarters in Euroa, it also has service centres located in Nagambie and Violet Town. The Strathbogie Ranges are a set of low mountain ranges within the Great Dividing Range, rising to at Mount Strathbogie. The Strathbogie Ranges are located approximately north-east of Melbourne, Victoria. Geology and ecology The range is the remains of a granite uplifted plateau in the southern part of the ranges and volcanic eruption in the north which formed a wide cauldron volcano. The topography consists of a series of ridges dissected by streams. The Strathbogie Ranges are north of the main Great Dividing Range, separated by the Goulburn and Broken River valleys.
