''Storm Over the Skerries'' (Swedish: ''Storm över skären'') is a 1938 Swedish drama film directed by Ivar Johansson and starring Sten Lindgren, Karin Ekelund and Björn Berglund.Qvist & Von Bagh p.93 It was shot at the Sundbyberg Studios of Europa Film in Stockholm and on location around Rödlöga and the island of Örskär. The film's sets were designed by the art director Max Linder. Synopsis Two local men, one of them a fisherman, quarrel over a beautiful woman who lives on their island. Harry Brandelius
Harry ''Torbjörn'' Brandelius (14 June 1910 – 5 September 1994) was a Swedish singer of schlager music. He made his debut as a gramophone singer in 1932 with ''Midt i natten'' (''Miss i nassen'') accompanied by Folke Andersson's orchestra (HMV X 4026), and was one of the most popular of his generation. Many of his songs had sailor's themes. Brandelius achieved his breakthrough with the song ''Han hade seglat för om masten'' ("He had sailed fore of the mast"), written by Martin Nilsson, in 1938. Later on he also succeeded well with ''Nordsjön'' ("The North Sea"), ''Med en enkel tulipan'' ("With a simple tulip"), ''En sjöman älskar havets våg'' ("A sailor loves the wave of the sea") and ''Vind i seglen'' ("Wind in the sails"). Emil Fjellström
Emil Fjellström (24 October 1884 – 14 July 1944) was a Swedish stage and film actor. Early life and stage career Emil Fjellström was born in Näs parish, Östersund Municipality, Jämtland County and grew up in the city of Östersund. After finishing school, he briefly worked at the post office before joining a local theater revue. He then decided to pursue theater acting as a professional career and debuted at Anton Salmson's Operetta Theatre in 1906. He would travel extensively through the country in various touring theater companies throughout the early 1900s and 1910s and enjoy a measure of popularity in the provinces. Tom Walter is an American college baseball coach. He has been the head coach of Wake Forest since the start of the 2010 season. Before coming to Wake Forest, Walter held head coaching positions at George Washington from 1997–2004 and New Orleans from 2005–2009. He was an assistant at George Washington from 1992–1994. Walter's career head coaching record, as of the end of the 2014 season, is 560–473. Outside NCAA baseball, Walter served as the assistant general manager of the minor league Greensboro Bats from 1995–1996. Edla Rothgardt
Edla (10th-century - 11th century), was a Slavic Viking Age woman. She was the mother of King Emund of Sweden and Queen Astrid of Norway. Tradition says Edla was the daughter of a Lechitic Tribal chief who has ruled part of terrain between Oder and Elbe . She was brought to Sweden as a prisoner of war c. 1000 at the same time or a little before, the arrival of Estrid of the Obotrites (''Estrid av obotriterna'').
